Default Future First Time LS Owner

Hello everyone, a future first time LS powered owner here!
I've been a lurker here for years but have owned only '60s and '70s Pontiacs. Well, in 2 weeks I pick up my '00 WS6 M6 Formula. I'm can't wait and am actually driving it back home 16+ hours. It should be a good way to get to know how she runs. It is stock except for SLP Lid/Bellow and Flowmaster Series 80 crossflow.
I am sure I will be digging deeper here to learn about this "new to me" Fbody, so bear with me.
Thanks,
Ponchjoe

The drive back is a bonding experience you will never forget. It's the best part of a car purchase as long as there are no problems on the way home. I'm batting about .900 now over many years, with only the Aerocoupe being a negative, as the heater core blew almost immediately with 500 miles still to go. No fun. Long storage is not a good thing.
