Have owned a few Fbodies over the years. A 77 Trans Am, 82 Z28, 87 Iroc Z, 91 Z28, 98 Z28 and now this nice 2002 Trans Am I picked up. It's got a set of nice long tube headers installed along with an SLP II catback and it's quite loud but sounds very good, especially while getting on it. Car drives very tight(feels like new with very few creeks). My plans are to add 17 inch torq thrust wheels, functional ram air hood and to junk the stock crapola Monsoon Sound System for a Pioneer Deck, new components up front a a Rockford P3 12 in the back cubby hole. I must say, this 2002 Trans Am is the nicest and fast of the Fbodies I owned. Very proud of it.

Only paid $7800 with 72K miles on her.

Oh, yes. My wife drives the nice Trailblazer SS. It will definitely scoot to weigh so much. Still, I think my car is just a touch faster.
