Ltx< Lsx New here from eastern Tn my name's Ricky I'm a college kid trying to keep my camaro alive. I bought the car last year in the beginning of August, it was a one owner car with 100,xxx miles on it. I rebuilt the rear end with a Richmond 4:10 and support girdle. Then threw on a cai and exhaust. Drove it till September where I took it to the pigeon forge rod run, on the way back I blew out a powersteering pump and spun the #8 rod bearing.
From there I found a killer deal on a 93 model Lt motor, wiring harness and ecm with a 6 speed. I bought it, freshened up the bottom end (didn't do rings or pistons) and put it in the car. I drove it 1800 miles went to the spring rod run and the next week threw a wrist pin.
So now I'm over the Ltx's and its time to move on to the Lsx!
I bought a Lq4 out of a 04 2500. I'm building on a budget, but still gonna add a few goodies like a cam and headers. I've already learned a lot from this site,
but I'll need plenty more support so thank you all in advance.
