hi I just signed up. I want to learn about ls1 engines.

I really want to get a 93+ firebird with a ls1 or add a ls1.

I would be open to a Camaro too.

I'm looking for a cheap one to get started preferably a 6 speed. I probably wont even consider an auto but I suppose it could be possible if I found an incredible deal.

I live in Novato and work in SF.

I saw a z28 Camaro that may fit the bill recently with an lt1 with 150K and listed for $1800.

I see a lot of cheap firebird v6's as well.

Anyway, lots of questions to come. Thanks for chillin.
