Hey all! I've owned a 66 beetle for the past 8-9 years and the other day...Tuesday to be exact...I traded for a 99 Formula. All I had to do was pay for a tag. My 3 year old son was disappointed that the "bug" was gone, but when he sat in the Firebird...he kept saying and screaming, "R, R, R!" He remembered a 67 Firebird I had a part in restoring and giving away. He rode all over the Tampa, Lakeland and Orlando area in it. It had the same interior as the 99. Needless to say...he loves the new (yet older) "race car" as he calls it. Looking forward to making new memories with he and my wife. I'll might miss the 66 a little...but we as a family are going to enjoy A/C and a 0 - 60 that will not take 5 minutes!
