Hello Camaro and Firebird Enthusiasts
Hey all.
I am a Marine Corps veteran.
I'm not "new" on these forums, but I haven't posted much here, and I don't think I ever posted an introduction here. I am pretty new to the 4th gen Firebird, as I got my Bird last August. Never owned an LS1 car. I don't much care for the 5th gens, as far as looks.
I decided the LT1 will be my poison, my bittersweet addiction, if you will.
I am currently doing a makeover, on pretty much my entire car. Full suspension swap is FINALLY done, as of yesterday, and my HVAC box is modified to keep heat and blower fan function (PITA). Finally made my LTCC fuel rail covers, too. Still have to do the heads and cam, fuel pump, interior reassembly/wiring, Spintech exhaust, Trans Am exterior parts, new rear-relocated battery wiring (if you want to call 1/0 welding cable "wire"), ABS delete, and stereo system.
Here she is:
Yes, the PO put a Dodge Challenger striping kit on the Bird. I didn't like it, at first, but it has grown on me.
