Default Green Metallic - 3.8L 5Speed - 69 5XX Miles - Montreal Qc Canada

Hi,

My first name is Luc, pronounced Luke,

I live in Montreal Quebec. For the curious one's, that's about 600 km north of New York, Ny through Highway 87N.
---------------------------------------------
I found Ls1tech.com through google's top results for keywords: "camaro 4th generation". The question, why have I made this research? That's where my camaro comes into play...
---------------------------------------------
No, I don't have an Ls1 4th Gen. It's a 3.8L Type II V6 matted to a 5Speed stick shift. The cool thing about it, matching color code ground effects kit (lip + spoiler).

I've had my Camaro for a little less than 4 years, haven't put much mileage on it (about 14 000 miles). 90% is because we have winter down here (Snow + Salt = Slush).
---------------------------------------------
Recently,
I've been thinking. To keep or not to keep: Tough question!

But
There's a small part of me who's still thinking: Keep + Upgrade

1- Engine + Transmission.
2- Brakes + Suspension.
3- Interior + Accoustics.
---------------------------------------------
That's probably the main reason I joined this forum.
To grasp some wisdom from original Camaro fanatics!

What do you think I should do?
Thanks for your input :-)

Keep and upgrade of course! 6 cylinder Camaros are never regarded as worthwhile classics. 6.0L six speed will fit nicely in that car.

Thanks for the tip!
Btw, where could I get the info for the parts necessary for me to make the upgrade?

I know I want to go replace engine, transmission, differential, suspension & probably upgrade the brakes.

I was told that I could go 2 ways with this:

1. The cheapest way: Get 350cu/in with carburator from an older Gm
2. The most efficient: Get 5.7L + Differential from Gm truckv(Tahoe/Suburban/etc)

Or:

Trust this guy who recently restored & upgraded a 77-Vette & pay 16K$ for parts + labor
and ill hit the street with a 600hp + monster.

Let me know what you think...
Thanks!
