Ls1 projectW I bought a 2000 Camaro z28 with the ls1 engine. The camaro is a convertible with 136000 miles. The interior is in great shape along with the exterior. The catch is that the engine threw a rod right where the dip stick is. About two years ago I bought a ls2 short block that I intended to put in my 08 z71 4x4 silverado, problem is the 5.3 has too much life left. So me being impatient, I decided to buy a project. I have always looked at this site for advicise and it has been superior to all. So if any gear heads out their could give me some advise, pointers, tricks, for my build I would appreciate it. To start im going to need a oil pan, if any one in here has a used oil pan I would consider buying it. Please help me build this project.
