Default New LS Owner in Tampa

Well I just went and purchased my first LS motor. 5.3L out of a 2005 Tahoe with 30k on it. Came complete with all accessories (except starter), transmission, and a painless wiring kit. I just recently built a SBC 350 for my 1939 Chevy Truck, and was bitten by the engine bug and wanted to get an LS to work on. I don't even know what I'm going to put it in yet... LOL.

My plans for it is swap to an LS1 intake (it has a 3 bolt cable TB), maybe a Z06 cam, and some other goodies. Just want a nice reliable motor that runs good and gets a lot better gas mileage than my 350 and 283's.

Thanks in advance
