hi from australia. :) hey guys and girls. i have a 2006 vz holden commodore ss. it had an L76 in it with a 4l65e. i had it cammed, with new related bits, (springs, etc..), and ran a best of 12.85 on street tyres at full street weight, which is around 1800kgs. i bought an ASE turbo kit, and fuel system, and did a t400 conversion. at this point the car was unregistered and was only being dragraced. ran a best of 11.735 @ 125mph. then it died. a few causes all contributed to some degree to kill the motor. a sticky thermostat cooked the motor, and the heads lifted or the head gaskets failed while racing.

i have just paid for an AES 390 fi with a cam and a holley hi ram. should be sweet hopefully be all sorted for next february and the next drag season start.

i race whatever is in the other lane. super street at the track i race at is dial your own, so you are really only racing the tree. but, i cant recall being lined up again an xr6t, strange, cos they are as common as dog poo over here
