Canada LS1 Miata swap
#2
Right now im sourcing a Wiring harness as mine didnt come with one.
I think my engine comes with a "411" ecu.. what would be the best harness?
I dont understand the harness setup with an ls1. Does a harness out of a truck work? It seems like almost everything swaps between chevys...

Not sure if I've seen you around the forums for v8 miatas but if you aren't any on any of them check out m.net in the engine conversion section and v8miata.com, tons of info on those sites. As for the wiring question I can't help you any, however the guys in the section may be able to.

Been there done that and would be glad to help. First up +1 ^^ Start at the right website... http://www.v8miata.net/
Tons of info in my blog too. Link is in my sig below. Also check out the links section of my blog there are a couple of excellent build threads there that will help and inspire you.
To answer your question there are several options for wiring harnesses you can look at depending on your budget and how much work you want to do wiring. What is the donor car your engine and trans came from? How comfortable are you doing wiring work? What is your budget for the harness?
