I am new to this forum and forums in general but I am wanting to drop a V8 in my zr2. Came up with a 5.3 today and I want to get the ball rolling. The 5.3 is out of a 2003 chevy silvarado. Engine is complete minus 2 coil packs plug wires and accessories. Engine lost oil pressure so i will be going through it soon. The zr2 has a 4.3 in it with a 5 speed behind it. Hoping anybody has tips or ideas to help with oil pans, harness, ecm, etc. I want to keep the 5 speed was curious about flywheel depth also.
