Hi everyone, I've been a lurker here for a couple years, mainly sticking to the classifieds in search of a Z28. After checking out several cars that were severely overpriced and in horrible shape, I basically gave up for about a year. Then just as I started looking through online car searches again, a nice looking SS popped up in my price range, and it was roughly a seven hour drive away. So I talked a couple family members to come check it out with me, and before I knew it, I was bringing her home. Made the whole ~400 mile trip without missing a beat. It's not perfect (the black paint shows every tiny scratch, chip, and blemish), but it really feels like the car I'd been looking for, and makes me glad I didn't settle.

2002 Camaro SS - 39,700 miles - auto
tan leather, t-tops, 12 disc CD, traction control
SLP options (build 5990): Base alterations, dual-dual exhaust, ZR1 rims, g-force tires, deck mat, floor mats, SS grille

She's pretty much fully loaded and everything works. And as far as I can tell, still completely stock. Seems like the only things missing are the SLP floor mats. After seeing how rare the tan ones are, I wish it still had them.

Nothing planned yet... My wallet is still recovering. Might do a few modest bolt-ons someday, but right now I'm just enjoying the car for what it is.
Just shy of $9,800 after paying for gas both ways and a hotel stay.
