Default Cts v ls2 & pa-4?

This is my first post, given I haven't been able to find the answer thus far. I am in the midst of installing an LS2 out of a 2007 CTS-V into a 1973 Mach 1. The engine and T56 trans are installed, and Painless wiring hook-up underway, with my next task being fuel. I'm thinking of installing a Tanks Inc PA-4 in tank pump along with their LS9904 fuel filter/regulator. I've read other threads about clearance issues and options for the pump, so I know about that, but I wanted to confirm the CTS-V LS 2 was no different than any other application, and should be able to simply have fuel feed after the filter/regulator, with no need for a return from the engine. I plan on simply using the return from the filter/regulator.

I called Tanks Inc. and the guy thought it should work, but suggested I throw it out there, given he wasn't certain about any difference the CTS-V might introduce.

Anyone know?
