Default New to the LS world

Hey there folks just signed up after a few visits here for info. I live out in the left coast in northern Calif near San Francisco. I own a 57 Belair I have had for about 9 years now.

Just pulled the crate 350 and 700R out and sold to a buddy.

I am pretty new to the LS world, always have been a SBC guy with old school carburetors. Recently purchased a new 'connect and cruise' LS3 with 4L70E from Pace.

Did a dry fit a couple weeks ago, got the mounts squared away and the new radiator fitted up.

Just put in a new Rick's tank and am working on fuel lines now.

The entire car goes in for paint in a week or two so right now it is pretty much gutted out of the drivetrain, interior and in a day or two all trim.

Figured this is a good place to learn about the LS

Nice looking car, check out the Conversions and Hybrid forum for any questions you have about the swap. That is going to be a great ride with an ls3 in it.
