Default MoonlitMechanic's Intro Thread

A little about me: I am a mechanical engineer working in building automation controls by day, and run a part-time business called Urban Legends Motorsport by night, and operate out of a 3-bay storage unit until we can afford a legitimate space (hence the name MoonlitMechanic). I recently sold my dependable Mazda B2600i because I have a fleet truck for work and couldnt stand being without some sort of performance car since I sold my 280z last year. I have mostly specialized in imports since I've been old enough to drive, but after owning my latest car, I must say I wish I had gotten an American V8 way earlier.

Here is my recently acquired 1999 Chevy Camaro Z28 with 143k on the clock. Here are some pictures from the craiglist ad the day I bought it:

In the next year or so I plan to talk to Strano about a good suspension setup to hopefully AutoX/track it occasionally, and get a nice wheel setup.

Now on to the other projects I've done (in chronological order from most recent to oldest):

1992 Mazda B2600i (restored most parts on it, dropped on torsions and 3" blocks; was clean enough to sell in 8 hours for my full asking price of $3500):

1977 Datsun 280z (L28ET Turbo Swap on 10 psi with FMIC, custom welded racing coilovers, and a whole lot more):

1983 BMW 733i with rare 5-Speed:

2005 Dodge Neon SRT-4:

1997 Honda Prelude SH:

2005 Subaru Legacy GT (Probably my favorite car I've owned until now):

1996 Honda Civic LX (Mini-Me VTEC Swap)

1987 Toyota 4x4:

2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT (My first car and project, too much to list, lets just say 100 shot of nitrous and every bolt-on possible):

And last but not least, my dad's car, the one that started it all....

1994 Mazda RX-7 TT (Street Ported, built motor, 15 psi on stock twins and every bolt-on possible; in the process of getting it back running again, damn rotaries lol):
