welcome aboard the Ls swap scene. LT1Swap.com great source on wiring info. That car can swallow a Ls quite well. Might as well go newer with tranny as well. You either have to make passing gear cable work to new motor or make speedometer work with electric signal. Your choice which way you go. Do some homework on it before diving into it tho. I converted my skylark to electric guages and went newer tranny. Also the DBW throttle not a big deal to make work, its just parts(gas pedal,tach box & short wire harness).
