I've got a 1970 K5 that will eventually be the subject of an LS swap but the one I'm working first is my dads 1968 C10SS (Short Stepside)
I've heard many good things about this forum and can't wait to use the knowledge base to get my show on the road.
What I'm looking at right now is a local guy offering a 2004 LM7 with 100K on the clock with the Dirty Dingo mounts and adapter to TH350, he's throwing in the trans too although I don't think I need it. I believe the harness is there but needs to be wired, does $1,400 sound like a decent price for this in the PNW?
The 68 already has a 4/6 static drop, notched rear, 3.73 12bolt (soon to have a lunchbox in it) rust free and clean interior with VHX gauges. I'll be adding a rack&pinon steering setup for a little better response but beyond that there's nothing needed except a little LS power.
