I'm new to LS engines and hoping I can pick your brain as I'm learning.

And... hoping to find a deal on an LS engine and T56 trans in Louisiana.

six speeds cost more to get a hold of. my last 5.3/4l60 100k was 700 i pulled it, another 06 5.3 complete no tranny 80k 500 i pulled here iowa

yeh, the 6 speeds seem tough to find... I'm gonna start watching the classifieds here too.

camaro or firebird in rough still seem to be money at salvage auctions. i find stuff from bank repo time to time listed in ads. go look under credit unions that have buy/sell/trade papers as well
