Default Hello from Grande Prairie, AB

Just purchased a '78 Malibu less engine. I have a 6.0 2004 LQ9 I picked up for $600 complete. Starter, alternator, flexplate, computer, water pump, injectors, literally complete. I am looking for some info on what oil pan to use for this swap, will the truck exhaust manifolds work ? Do I have to use 4 O2 sensors to make the computer happy? I am new to the LS platform, other than having replaced the 5.3 in my 2003 Sierra XLT after 240,000 km and a spun main bearing. Any info or guidance would be greatly appreciated. I have the swap manual for LS series engines, LS conversion handbook and the How to Swap LS engines into anything. I think this site is the place to be for first hand knowledge that will save me a lot of time and grief. So many questions. Will the stock intake fit under the hood without modifications? Can I use a fuel tank and pump from an '87 GN ?

Regards, TIM
