Picked up a low mileage 1999 Trans Am two weeks ago, my first LS1 car. I've had several 3rd gen Firebirds and T\As, but hadn't had one in a while.

Anyways couples months ago I started to look for new T\A or firebird, 3rd or 4th gen as long as it was in great shape. After looking at a couple cars locally described as "like new" and coming away disappointed, I had to expand my search. Found a near new 1999 T\A in Denver (I live San Diego area). Looked great in the pictures and Carfax checked out. So I took the chance and flew out on Saturday, bought the car and was back in San Diego Sunday morning, 24 hours and 1100 miles later.
