Default Done jumped down the LS rabbit hole.....

Yea, them ole SBc's..........

Seems the cheap Chinese auto parts store replacement lifters wiping out on startup is what made me park my old 68 over a decade ago.

Now days im interested in anything technically advanced, c5 vette suspension, custom frames, the latest /fastest computers , and Gen IV aluminum engines, the price is now once in a while dipping low enough, to get my hands on parts, so my first stuff will be a 5.3 with the afm ripped out, and a regular L33 or maybe a ls6 cam. I like big ole frikkin holset turbos, and will probably attempt a He 341 ve VGT using a MSD window controller to operate the !2 volt VGT mechanism in the right rpm range.

but first I have to get better acquainted with the 04 up blue green connector pcms ill try the 243 or probably the 801 cable throttle.

anyhow is keeping the VVT worth it? some don't want to have anything to do with it, but HotRod articles say there is 40 hp potential keeping vvt with the new performance grinds, --even though they cost 4 times what an old 350 comp cam costs
