new from GA hi everyone im new to ls swaps i live in ga but im from detroit. i have been into tuners mostly but after a talk with my stepdad and a few of his friends he talked me into going to an american motor. my ride is a 97 eclipse rs with a little 4 banger in it and i know some people dont believe in "crossbreeding" or dont see the point in doing all the work required but i want somthing unique that noone expects. so im aiming for finding a chevy truck thats been rear ended trying to find a LQ4 with a 4L65e tranny and stock ecu. then i got a welder hoping to build me a engine and tranny "cradle" to mount it in and i was thinking a ford 9" rear end. i was thinking it would kinda be like building a kit car with the body already built. i have measured under the hood and i have enough room for the motor but i dont know the size of the tranny. look forward to the help and support thanks.
