Currently finishing my '64 Impala SS LS1 install. 2000 TA donor car with 13k miles. Bought as a complete pullout with the 4l60 trans. Used MR muscle motor mounts & crossmember, plus ceramic coated headers. Car has been lowered, 4 wheel disc brakes, Vintage Air, Dakota Digital gauges, etc. All side trim, door handles/locks shaved. Recently painted black.
Other vehicles: 69 Camaro SS w/383 stroker, '70 Chevy short box & '71 Chevy Short box project.
Other LS motor I have is a 02 Z28 LS1 with 27k with LS6 intake. I have 243 heads for it, a set of aftermarket 230cc CNC machined heads with .650 lift springs and a set of 1.8 rockers. Originally planned that for the Camaro & have Doug Thorley LS headers for it. May go with the 243 heads & small cam for one of the pickups.
Have a 4l80 trans for this as well
Big heads& 1.8 rockers will probably just gather dust for now.
Using Ron Francis wiring for Impala, and they reflashed computer to eliminate emissions
