Introduction, New to LS1 Tech Hey Guys,
I'm new to the site. I grew up around cars and am anxious to get involved in the LS1 platform. So far, all my knowledge is theoretical since since it has just been READING. I've started a transplant project. I have a new 5.3 / 4L60E (0-mile motor and trans from a wrecked C1500) going into a 1960 Cadillac Coupe DeVille. I've installed an aftermarket front clip in the car with power rack-and-pinion, adjustable coil-overs and drilled and slotted 13" Corvete disc brakes. The motor and trans are in the car.
I will be tackling the harness re-work for stand alone operation befor too long and expect that I will be reaching out for guidance from those of you that have gone down this road. I will also be willing to help others as I gain knowledge.
