New from Saskatchewan
Hey, I picked up a 2000 Trans Am Convertible LS1 last week. It has 125,000km on her and looks pretty slick. The guy before me cut out the cats (I have engine code P0420 in and he told me he cut out the cats), added a pretty good stereo (bonus but not a necessity for me), Eibach lowered springs, and he put 20" Foose wheels on it. I'm not sure if I can post pics yet.
My future plans are to get some decent rotors and pads (they are warped... stupid GM) and then I was eyeing up doing a proper exhaust system on it. I'm a big fan of the Hooker Aerochamber muffler so I will be building something around that (headers, Y-Pipe, the works but no cats).
Eventually I would like to add that SLP intake I hear about and maybe the LS6 intake manifold in. A few years.
I'm keeping it for a cruising street car.
Here is a picture of it next to my truck at my condo.
In the underground parking garage where I store it (I have to enter pretty sideways)
And the day I got it home. I really like the convertible aspect.

Welcome from a former SK resident now surviving in AB (lol).
Which area are in? There is great group of Fbody guys in SK that really know their stuff and are always willing to lend a hand and help out a fellow 4th gen owner.

Sounds good, there is a Facebook page called Fbody Generations (used to have their own forum but no one wanted to pay the host fees any longer). It has a bunch of members from MB, SK, and AB mostly - one member is from Saskatoon and does custom tuning and offers tons of help and support the 4th gen crowd in the prairies.

I joined up.
I'm still waiting on my tax refund, but most of that is going towards truck (leveling kit, body lift, shocks/struts) and car parts (hooker aerochamber, hooker mids, SLP ram air) haha. It's sitting in my summit cart just waiting for that.
