New guy from Monroe North Carolina hello,
I've been a hot Rodder al my life ( 60 years young) I have a 502 5- speed 70 ss chevelle a 68 c-10 short bed stepside and a 40000 mile 85 ss Monte Carlo . I took the chevelle on the 2014 hot rod power tour and got interested in gm's ls 376/525 crate engine . I went to ls fest later that year and bought one from scoggin dickey. I went home and pulled the small block from the 68 truck and put in the ls with a legend gear 5- speed and took it on hrpt 2015.this year my plan is return to the ls fest and purchase the same ls3 with Asa cam in a connect & cruise package with the 4l70e automatic to replace the anemic 305 with 200 r automatic that the Monte Carlo was born with. The truck puts out 425 hp to rear wheels I hope the Monte will do as well with the automatic. Man those things are fun to run!!!!
