Noob LS1 owner 68 El Camino Hello All,
Just purchased a 1968 El Camino w/ a 2002 LS1 out of a corvette . Car has a 5 spd Tremec and want to swap out to a 4L65E . having simular trouble locating proper flywheel and spacer to match up .
Any help would be much appreciated.

This depends. Do you want the 4L65e, or will a 4L60e work? What year transmission do you plan on using?
The easiest answer, just get the flexplate from any LS that came with that particular transmission.
