Ls fng
I have always been more of a Ford guy but never had any issue with Chevy, my ownership history has been about 45% Ford, 35% GM and 20% Mopar. Bashing gets people nowhere and if you have the know how, you can build any of them into a monster. However, the only GMs that I've really been inside were old carbonated setups. Lately I have been in the market to build another street/strip car and want it to be a sleeper because I don't want the attention that driving a car that clearly has 500+HP brings (i.e Camaro, Mustang, Corvette, Challenger, etc). I love the look on someones face when they think they have the race in the bag as they pull up to the line and get their @$$ handed to them. Enter the Sloppy Mechanics Fairmont builds, I just binge watched all of them and am thoroughly impressed, however, my keyboard is a bit unhappy with all of the drool now. I was unaware at how interchangeable everything in the LS family was. I now plan to do an LS Fairmont similar in ways to how Matt does them but with some slight changes for personal preference and goals. I aim to learn as much as I can so that I can plan and manage the build smartly. Sorry for rambling on.

I'll definitely check it out. While looking around on CL, my fiance said the LS is the engine equivalent of a Mosin Nagant, plentiful and inexpensive. Her worry is that one day she'll come home from work and I'll have 4 engines, 3 spare sets of heads and a few intakes in the back of my truck. She said it as if it's a bad thing. Idk if she's the one. Lmao.
