Hey guys. New to the Ls1 tech forums. I have an 82 elcamino with a 79 front end swap off a drag car. Also have a swapped a 5.3 lm7 with a newly installed t56 6 speed and 3.73 auburn posi.
Future upgrades include (mostly likely blower) and a ford 9 inch rear end to take some power. Car is still a work in progress but I enjoy keeping it on the road while I work on it.
I ran it at the track and went in the mid 13s but had bald all seasons and spun all the way down the track (blew a good tire on the 2 hr drive to the track).
I have a thicker flyhweel and ls2 pilot bearing for mating a sbc tranny to an ls if anyone wants to buy it!
This is my low budget build. Approximately 10 grand into it including vehicle purchase 3 years ago.
