Default Introduction

Hey guys, been looking at ls1tech articles for years now and I finally registered. Lol I have an 86 c4 corvette that i'm ls swapping and have a couple of billet wheel s366's from forced inductions that I plan on using in a 5.3 with an lsa crank and some ultra I beams and pistons. Car is a solid axle car with a fab9 and i'll be going with a reid cased glide but not sure who with. So I plan on hauling *** and helping anyone else that needs it.

I just finished up a swap on an 89 C4.

4.8 with a TH400. Stock IRS.
Careful with the LSA crank, they have a different flexplate pattern and finding a flexplate/converter combo to use an older style trans is typically either difficult or expensive.

Yeah I know. It's an 8 bolt flange instead of a 6 bolt flange. Both tci and Circle D make flexplates for them. Tci sells one that's $100 more than a regular sfi flexplate and I don't remember what circle d's FP is but it's a good bit more money but it's also a very nice piece. That 4.8 with a billet s366 would make for a fun daily in a c4 lol
