So the problem i am having is that once this thing gets up to operating temp it will not start up again if you shut it off. If you pull the thermostat you can drive and start it no problem. So i guess what i am asking is if the PCM pulls timing or something when it reads a weird temp or no temp signal thus not allowing it fire right up.

Any mods?

Its possible that someone did a tune and botched a cell somewhere for that temperature range.

Possibly there was a diablo tuner in the car when i got it. The temp sensor portion of the harness also was damgaed and probably not sending a good signal. Is it possible that would effect the hot start issue? And the reason the fan kicks on right away?

Could be. The car will not be driveable if there is any issue with the coolant temp sensor. Even if it does start, there will be erratic issues.

Ok thank you for your help. I am going to rewire it and see if it helps at all and reinstall the thermostat
