Land Rover Builder in Round Rock, TX
Hello, All. I've been a car guy since I could first put a Hot Wheel in my mouth and I've restored and/or built cars and trucks from 5 decades and 3 continents. My current project is a 1966 Land Rover Series 2a wagon that had a starring role in Delta Force 2 with Chuck Norris. This is a complete rebuild with a new chassis and bulkhead and I'm doing subtle upgrades where it makes sense and keeping the stock look and feel everywhere else.
The engine and drivetrain is the most significant upgrade and that's where I hope to learn from and contribute to LS1Tech. The car had a rotten SBC and Muncie M22 in it from the movie shoot, so for this build, I'm using a drop-out LC9 from a 2012 Silverado in front of the M22. I've already rebuilt or refurbished all of the mechanical bits while waiting for the chassis to ship from UK, so now I'm tackling the harness and merging it with the new American Autowire chassis harness. This is my first LS, but I'd like to use them in future projects, so I want to know how to rework the harnesses, program, and tune.
Thanks for letting me crash your site!
