Default 2000 formula ws6

I was in the market for my first car and found a craigslist post I thought was too good to be true, bone stock 2000 formula ws6, 85k miles, clean title, decent interior and exterior condition, 1 prior owner, manual transmission for $10,000. I jumped on the offer and here I am. owner of a car I know very little about. I certainly have plans to restore and upgrade this monster and will use these forums as a source of reference. after doing a little research and I am thinking about starting the upgrades off with a LS6 intake manifold followed by an exhaust system and tune I have yet to determine. Any and all feed back will be appreciated.

Beautiful example of an F-body, definitely good idea going with the LS6 Intake and maybe go with a nice set of PRC CNC Ported LS6 Heads with BTR Valve Springs, FAST 36lb Injectors, and a nice Cam of your choice, a good set of Long Tube Headers with High Flow Cats, and if you want to enjoy the sound of your car's Cam lope when your outside of it and want to not get a headache when your just cruising I would go with the Corsa Exhaust system NO Drone its great, a good Frost Tune and you should be in the 420whp, good luck congrats on the purchase!!!

Clean car!
If you like to do lots of mountain road driving I would look into getting Koni sport shocks asap, you wont believe the difference they make in handling and ride.

Clean F-Bodies are a rarity. WS6 Formulas...rare indeed!

Welcome! Nice ride for sure. These cars have there quirks but are a blast to mod and plenty of aftermarket support to do just about anything you could wish.

Wow, looks like you got a great deal on that. Had a friend who owned a 2000 WS6 Formula in black!
