Hello All,
Just joined the site today. I have a 1965 Pontiac GTO that I swapped a LQ9 block with corvette cam, heads and intake. Also installed a Magnum T56 6 speed trans and will be putting 4.11's in the stock 8.2 rear end. I have had the GTO for 7 years, when I picked it up, it had a '68 400 with Tri-power and an M21 4 speed. After two rebuilds, (spun rod bearings, cracked piston), decided against another rebuild last fall as I was picking up wrist pin rattle, and went the LS route. I have only driven the goat one afternoon, before it went into winter storage, so just waiting for spring, so I can put some miles on the old girl.
I am a real rookie when it comes to the LS scene, but have lots of experience on the old school Poncho stuff. I hope to gain some knowledge from members on here, so thanks in-advance for all your help.
