Going from SBC's to LS... new to the platform.
I ended up with an LM4 from an '05 Trailblazer free of charge from a friend and figured it was an ideal time to jump into a new engine platform. I'm getting bored of the limitations of a street going SBC and want a little more...
It's going into a '98 S10 (go figure).
Despite it being the played out V8 swapped mini-truck, I have higher aspirations for it than the average cat. The LM4 with a T56 behind it. A shortened Ford 8.8 w/ LSD, 3.73 gears, and a 4-link setup. 285/40-ZR17's in the rear.
I'm a chatter. If you wanna talk guns, cars, engines, or video games. Hit me up.

Haven’t got that far into it yet. I have a family member that does a lot of custom fab work for older hot rods. I’m sure we could figure something out.... I’ve heard of some issues with mounting a manual trans w/ long tube headers.

Oh if you have the resources to build your own headers that would be nice, I have
stainless Works long tubes 1 7/8 and
t56 as well, no real figment issues that a grinder didn’t solve as far as the trans. Is concerned, my issues are how close
the headers are to my control arms, motor
mounts, brake lines, all the stuff in the lower
engine bay, I even cut quite a bit on the frame to give myself an extra 1/8 here and there.
