Hey guys, I have been lurking for a while now. Joined to gain as much knowledge as I can to swap an LS into my ‘69 C/10.

When physically mounting the engine and trans it helps to buy parts that are known to work together. It helps in header fitment plus oil pan and driveshaft alignment. Holley makes complete swap kits for a few swaps but I don't see one listed for that year.

Thanks man!

i was kind of leaning towards buying

A) parts car to use engine/trans combo like a caprice ppv or an old Escalade.... etc

B) Try and find a junkyard motor and get the harness and ecu.

Seems like they are a little scarce over here where I live on Craigslist.
