New here, not new. What's up? I've been a member of the Caddilac Forms since 2008 and people directed me here. I have been a lurker for a bunch of years, but I'm now looking to take the car to the next stage in it's life. So we've had a 2005 V1 since late 2008 that was my wifes daily driver ( 5 miles a day) up until 2018. The car has been babied since we got it other than the ocasional road trip with three boys in the back seat. There was a problem in 2016 were the cam bolts walked out and the valves and pistons got really intame. We pulled the engine had the valves replaced, and regasketed the whole engine. Our oldest son and I did all the work (great dad son project) and got it back and running for Mom. Fast forward, Caddy now has 180K+ and she's smoking, knocking, and skipping. Great time to upgrade, says the wife. Looking to see if anyone has done an LSA crate motor swap. I have seen some of the threads were guys have done an LSA supercharge upgrade (Maggie and rebuild not at all price competative), but if anyone knows of a complete swap that would be great. Probably going to go with Kooks long tube headers, rear suspenion bushings, maybe a 8.8 swap, either bulit proof the exsisting T56 or get the beefy TR6060, and all the stuff that I've wanted to do since 2006.
