Hi from French Riviera Hi,
I'm from Europe, Corvette owner since a long time, Corvette daily driver, and Corvette drag racer as a hobby... all of this with a LS1 Corvette ;-)
I work on some big hp LS build (for my friends), build (only for myself), and tune (for all).
My daily is a MN6 #900rwhp thru E85, done 10.4 at 1/4m before being quite fired.
The nearest track, 2x200 miles from me, changed law... and minding...
A few couple years ago, i was doing law 11 (11.1) and was applause... on 12s "no roll bar" series.
After, a new class appear, the 11s class, i was happy and build my low 10 engine.
But, before my car running, the 11s class desappear, and... race director changed... so 12s is 12s right now... faster is only allowed with roll bar... and if you can run 11.7 a couple of run in the race weekend... only ONE 11.5 and you be fired...
And, 1st time i run with my new spec, not totaly tune, tire not well pressurised, track not good as it was the 1st day and hours the airplane was open as a track since 6 mounth or so... and i hit 10.4...
Bad day... not usual to be boring by a director about speed in close race...
But bappy day that my baby is now a 10s aprouved... and perhaps a high 9 capable...
Now, i changed spec, w/6 points roll cage, and completly new spec (not C5 and not LS1)
