Talking 1972 Trans Am LS Swap Project

Hey Everyone, I've been on this forum for years but never made an account.

Anyways, I have a 1972 Firebird that I am in the middle of putting an LS engine in. Its an LQ9 block (so 6.0) that I am planning to put a 408 Rotating Assembly in.

I also have an LT1 based T56 transmission that I converted to LS by changing the input shaft, midplate, and bellhousing.

I am really just figuring things out as I go, retracing the steps that my dad took for his LS build on his 1984 Trans Am that he never got to finish. I am 22 year old graphic designer who likes to get **** done, so here I am.
I have some questions that I did not find answered in the forums, so hopefully someone can shed some light on them.

Any general pointers are appreciated!
