Newbie-98 Camaro Drag Build Hello,
New to the forum...
Working on a 1998 Camaro Drag Car for my 17yr old daughter.
Car was originally a 5.7 w/6-spd but is currently a roller..
Has an 8-point cage and a 9inch rear 4.11 spool and came with a complete 5.3
Wanting to install the 5.3 with a PG trans w/brake..
Car is sitting on 17" wheels but wanting to swap over to 15x8 in the rear and 15x4 in the front..
I think the backspacing on the rears would be 5.5" w/+25mm offset? Any idea what the fronts need to be? It has Corvette calipers and rotors(?) and measures 13.25" overall...
Also what springs work best for the rear setup? Looks to have some type of lowering spring currently...would like the rear tires to be 28x10.5-15
Car will be 1/8 mile drag...
