Smile Here to learn - Doing an LS Swap in Hmmwv

I'm here to learn from the ground up, because I'm dumb. haha

I'm trying to do an LS Swap in a Military Hmmwv, from diesel to gas, from 24 volt to 12 volt.
Boy it's going to be a ride

Not really too hard. First thing is to eliminate anything that requires 24v. Which isn't much. All the standard lighting in the later ones was 12v but the Blackout Drive lighting is 24v The rest is all mechanical swap stuff. but if it were me, it would be getting a Dmax or Cummins. They're close to 8k lbs empty. Ours were close to 20k lbs w/ uparmor, turret, guns, ammo, demo and 4 guys. LOL
6.5 turbo we had turned up a bit.

EDIT: the early style gauges were lighted using 24v circuits too.
