Eli Whitney would disagree after he worked so hard to create standardized parts. You do want the computer and wiring harness that came with whatever engine you source but any of the transmission choices can be sourced separately without any negatives. No point making this seem harder than it is. People have been doing this swap since 1997 and all the info is online.
