New member 69er here, New member as of today. I'm a retired Tool Maker/Machine Repairmen from General Motors. After retirement, I formed my own business in Vibration analysis of rotating industrial machinery. But, as of December 31, 2023, I dissolved my company. Now, I'm officially retired. Now, working on a 69 Pontiac FB coupe.

Some plans for my 69 coupe. As is: 350 2 barrel, Has 60,000 miles pn it. Bought from my brother n law where it was on blocks in his garage for the past 40 plus years. Minor rust on the quarters. Interior dirty but in great condition for its age.
plans:
Having engine rebuilt to give me close to 450 hp. MSD ignition , HEI distributor. Replacing 3 speed original tranny with 4 speed auto 700r4. Upgrade drum brakes to 4 wheel disc brakes.Dougs headers, new exhUsr, new gas tank. Posi rear end. Repad seats. New A/C, heat. Wheels and tires.
Then gona drive it and do paint along the way. Ivebeen told you will never have it exactly the way you want it, Ibeleave tbat is true. Also have a 85 full size Jmmy tbat I want to do. I x bought it nbrand new, took delivery Dec/84 Lots of dreams.
What do some of you out there have. Interested to know because I'm a rookie with this project
