New, old guy.

No real experience with the cars (just trucks with the LS engine platforms), but that is going to be a sweet ride.
Probably a little learning curve to get yourself familiar with these engines, but once you switch, you will likely never go back.

Well, FB market sux. That motor is showing now, but seller hasn't responded!
Got a discount code at Aces, (new customer?) hoping it lasts until I have a motor in hand.
How much weight difference between iron and aluminum blocks?

Welcome! Nice 3rd Gen! I am trying to get my dad to stop tire kicking over 500 dollars and buy a 82 Pace car.

I did it!
I have a 4th gen 6.0 LY6. Story is the guy I got it from buys several at a time, direct from GM N. Tonowanda (Buffalo) powertrain, uses what he needs and resells the rest. These are usually dyno test engines. He has a Grand Prix with a 2nd stage cam that sounds real good, and a friend has one with a 3rd stage cam. This one was supposed to have been in a concept car. It's basically a long block, which is good because I plan to carb it and run headers.
If anyone else is interested he is on FB marketplace, LS motors, $1000 in Buffalo, JoeSavagee.
I'm sure I'll have more questions, and I'll post pics.
Thanks everyone.
