Howdy Hi everyone,
I’m new to both this forum. I’ve been trying to avoid creating another account or starting a new thread, but I can’t seem to find the exact answers I need.
I have a 2001 Camaro SS that snapped the #6 connecting rod, destroying the original block. I’m planning to swap in a crate Gen III LQ9 with an LS6 cam and 821 heads, and I also have a complete ’15 Chevy SS LS3-style intake to install. I understand the block side will work fine and that I’ll need a proper tune, but I’m unsure about the heads and intake.
Specifically, I’m trying to figure out if the injector connectors are the same as the LS1, whether the manifold sensors are compatible, and how the PCV system will work.
If anyone can point me to a thread or guide covering this, I’d greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance for your help!
