Hello to everyone I signed up to this board yesterday. It seems to be a nice site for information and I notice alot of you have some sweet cars. I am trying to build mine up a few parts at a time. Its mostly stock under the hood I have done a few cosmetic things to her so far. Now I want to start on the engine.

Yes, I put them on about 3 months ago. I wanted to replace my stock headlights because they were turning color & small cracks were in them. I found them while looking up replacement headlights. I really wanted them once I saw them because there isn’t a camaro around here with those on it. Plus it looks cool & is easy to spot for people video recording when we go to the track.

Thanks to all for the welcome.

Wink Hal from Houston

Haven't been on the forum in a long time, but I have most of the parts needed to get my project running.
My daily driver is a 02 Z-28 Black LS1 Six Speed with the ground effects package, and the rest of the bells and whistles. I love my car, and will never sell it. When I purchased it in 02, I was told by all my friends that I was buying a kids car. At the time I was 60 and well aware that some people just don't get it. I have sailed past many a rice burner including the same Suburu with the juice, unless he's just reaching down on the floor to pick up a french fry. Mustangs and Vettes have been victims as well as many newer high powered beauties from Japan. I'm not going to go over on Westhimer Road where I've heard about the SS with twin pumps on it.
My project is a 1950 Chevy that the power plant and six speed from a 97 WS-6 is going into. LS1 Tech will hopefully provide the information I need to get the stock computer wired correctly. I will be looking for which numbers on the computer to go to ign, grnd, hot, ect. Wish me luck!
