Default Hello new here

Hi my name is Cole I just wanted to say hey and introduce myself. I am not a domestic driver nor do I have a LS1. I drive a a honda.
I am interested in what other forums and other people are doing with other cars.
I am also not what you would call a ricer. i dont have a 4' aluminium wing, nor do I have nawws in my car. I have a 2000 Honda civic HB with a swapped 2.0L dohc 4 cyl out of a 2000 Honda CRV. it is quick enough and reliable for a everyday driver. It has approx 150hp and around the same for torque with all the upgraded parts, and it weighs in at about 2200lbs.
I am expecting to get picked on and that is alright but keep in mind you are gonna get it right back : ) . So I am off to the forums to see what kind of trouble I can get it .

Take Care
Cole

Welcome to the site Cole. Here is one question to see if you are a ricer, does your car have the factory exhaust manifold and factory exhaust pipe from the manifold back, and a fart pipe? In other words, is your exhaust tip diameter much larger than the pipe leading to it?

If so, you my friend are indeed a ricer

My car has a OEM Integra Type R exhaust manifold. It has 2 1/4'' piping running into a 2' magnaflow stainless resonator runnining back to a magnaflow muffler. I also had to switch the factory computer to one from an older integra with a custom harness so I could eliminate the secondary O2. I have also socketed the ecu to run a custom tune for 94 octane and launch control. It has been tuned on the street with our LM1 WBO2. A freind and I have performed all the work ourselves soi hope that counts for somthing.

He has a 90 integra that we our building a turbo kit for, low boost. i will keep ya posted if you guys have any interest.

thanks for the welcome

Cole

Welcome cole! I used to drive a Honda as you can probably tell from my user name. I sold it and bought a choice LS1. The best I ever ran in my Prelude was a 16.2 @ 88 mph. Translated to sea level that's about a 15.2 @ about 93 mph. From those numbers you can probably see why I went with an LS1.

Sounds like a cool car Cole. I was going to buy a swapped Civ HB as a daily driver, and have two cars. But I'm in college and two cars isn't the most economical decision. Welcome to the site.

Thanks you all for the warm welcome. LOL I was expecting alot worse. I have never ran my car at a track but the estimate should be around mid 14's.

You LS1 experts please check my post in the coversions and hybrids, and see what I am up against with my newest project for a friend.

Take Care
Cole
