Smile Greetz from Europe

Puuh, if u could imagine how hard it was to find such a huge US community
... for someone from Europe.

Im Kristian aka Lapp6th, croatian, still under 30 , living in Germany, after i have just finished a longer military hell in my sunny and hot homeland .

If im looking on all ur V6 and V8s .. how could be an european sympathic up from the first shot ? Hmm ... hey my family is driving since 30 years Ford (EU) ! Is that a good qualification ?

If u want more to know about "us", the click on my signature. The site isnt ready yet. I think that could take a week or two for the final finish. But u can download 3 previews and spend some time with some questions about that in the forum. Streetracing and Rally has a long tradition in croatia. If u usually would know on what kind of streets i think it would be so fascinating for u too .

Y im here ? US cars r still exotics in Europe. And where could i get better general and tech infos about fast US cars as on the source ? Im still european and i will prefer compact cars with turbos on fire. But there r some heart breakers where i cant resist. Such as in the direction of a gt40, 59 Impala, or some monsters from the 70` like barracuda or charger etc. *sigh*
Or such nice Z28 like just visited . If i hear the sound on the weekend of my neighbors car i get a goose skin .

Everyday life im driving a Ford Escort (EU Version) last generation like here :
http://www.xr3.de/mk5.htm

But i have some fine fast specials in my garage for the weekend.

So far ...

Lappy

Aha ... ok .. should i deleted it ?

Im just wondering, i dont see much US Ford here.
What is the reason ?

Im sorry , but u will find a Sierra RS 500 Cosworth in my garage and a Subaru Impreza WRX STI. I like chevys only after the C4. Or the older ones.
But we here could never have the experinece like u with US cars. So pls have indulgence with me

So far ...

Lappy

thx !

Ok patience sounds better
I should tune up my english vocabulary .

But forgive a noob. What the heck is a F-Body ?

k Jack, but u cant compare such a small US car community (and we have a lot of them) with such pro´s like here .

So far ...

A F-Body is a Camaro or Firebird. The F-Body platform is what they were both built on.

^^ Hi there. I was just now again 10 month in my homeland croatia (they taked me out of the reserve) on the halfisland istra (www.istra.com from where im from) . But i think it was my funny last time @ army . But im usually living in Germany. Im living there in NRW (State : Nordrhein Westfalen, Region : Ruhrgebiet, City Dortmund www.dortmund.de). Its a concentration of big heavy industrial citys (for German relations). Citys like Düsseldorf, Köln (Cologne), Bochum, Essen, etc. r only jumps away. I think in the US is a simillar region. The tuning and streetracer scene is big here. And the next US or Nato Bases not so far. <- Thats the reason y some german drivers on known locations r every weekend crying if the US small and bigblocks r crossing "our" lines. Cuz we dont need to think about to install neons under and in the car, or compressors that tower above the motorhood .

U have mail

Lappy, you have to take what you can get sometimes. If you visited the site, you would see that there are many on there with great knowledge. There are many American servicemembers on that site, as well as many Europeans too.
