I'd Like to say that I am finally a proud member of your elite group. As a 23 year Active Army vet and still serving in Minnesota, I am acustom to being
part of a close fraternity. I just picked up an 01 Vette and will be adding some
mods within the month. Cat back, gears, converter and Blackwing are all that I will be adding before it goes into storage. Any help/suggestions appreciated.

Congrats man! I've been in the Air Force active duty for 2 years and did time in Kirkuk, Iraq, so welcome as an LS1 owner, and a soldier. Get at LEAST a 3500 stall on that though. I have a 3500, and wish I had a 4000.

Thanks for the welcome and recommendation on a stall. My brother GYMRATT, is an LSI Alumni, and he suggested I go with a 3500/3.73 gears if I wanted to launch violently to be able to compete with the 6 Speeds. All of my mods will be getting the nod of approval from him, due to me being an LS1 Cherry(ex-Cobra owner)and he being somewhat of an authority. This is accomplished through your great LS1 network, LS1 Tech and a great deal of his research . I also want to commend you on your selfless service to this great nation and glad to have you back from that God forsaken country. Being part of Army Recruiting Command for over 15 years, I am happy when I hear another one of us makes it home safely. Hooah!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great to see another soldier on board!
Veteran myself. Recruiting for over 15 years, WOW. THATS a feat. I know that recruiting is tough. You evidently have some good help with the mods.
Again, welcome.
